Departments of the Klokner Institute

The main work of the Klokner Institute is carried out in the scientific research departments and in the Department of Experimental Methods. Scientific research and teaching in specific field carried out by the departments. The departments also deal with work on non-scientific tasks within their field of expert knowledge in connection with the supplementary activities of the Klokner Institute.

The scientific research departments are:

• Department of Structural Reliability
• Department of Building Materials
• Department of Mechanics

The main work of the Department of Experimental Methods is to provide support for the experimental needs of the scientific research departments. The department also participates in the scientific research and supplementary activities of the Klokner Institute.

The Finance and Administration Department provides the financial and administrative services needed to run the Institute, especially administrative and organizational support for research and teaching, international relations, public relations, promotion of the Institute’s services and outputs, day-to-day running of the Institute, etc.
